“San José City College is honored to be hosting this important event,” says Rosa Pérez, Chancellor, San José/Evergreen Community College District. “I am a firm advocate in that every woman, Latina or otherwise, finds her voice and is given the tools and confidence she needs to take her place in the community. This workshop is for all women, and I am pleased that the Latina Coalition Silicon Valley chose us as a host for this very first workshop. I hope there will be many more.”
“I am pleased to be joining the team at IBP,” says Ms. Bhargavan. “Right now we have so much to offer Silicon Valley’s professionals—Geographical Information System (GIS) curriculum, Job specific communications skills training, Customer service training and Management & Leadership training, to name a few. We are currently creating a vocational bio-tech and health care program to meet the needs of the rapidly-growing biotechnology and allied health care industry.”
Tickets for this event are $25 for LCSV members, $35 non-members and $15 students.
