Montgomery Hill Observatory, completed in August 2003
- This facility, designed and constructed to house a 10-inch Celestron telescope, provides support for Evergreen Valley College’s astronomy department. There is a computerized control system that assists in the control of the facility’s two telescopes.
- The Montgomery Hill Observatory project was completed in August 2003. At a cost of $1.2 million, 75 percent of project funding was provided by lease revenues, with the remaining 25 percent by Measure I. Thank you voters of San José!
